The broad concept of charitable work adopted by the Alrajhi Endowment makes it contribute strongly to meet the health services and treatment of those who are in need. It took steps to establish medical, ambulatory, and rehabilitation centers as well as offering medical devices to those who are in need across our dear land and in some Islamic countries.
The Alrajhi Endowment undertakes these medical projects and programs to fulfill the following objectives:
 
Supporting the official endeavors made ​​by the concerned authorities in the country regarding health services in some areas that need medical centers or devices.
Providing financial and in-kind support to patients through the establishment of health and ambulatory centers in the areas that badly need such services.
Active participation on the part of Alrajhi Endowment towards realizing the principle of solidarity and cooperation among Muslims.
 
The Alrajhi Endowment implemented these activities through the following:
Establishing health and medical centers in coordination with the Ministry of Health.
Establishing care and rehabilitation centers for the disabled in coordination with the Ministry of Social Affairs.
Building and equipping of centers for dialysis as well as providing other medical devices.
Establishing First Aid centers in coordination with the Saudi Red Crescent Society.
Providing disability and medical devices to the disabled and others who are in need.
Providing various medicines and drugs upon the need of patients.
 
Following are some examples of great projects and programs in this concern:
 
Center of Sheikh Saleh ibn Abdulaziz Alrajhi for diabetic retinopathy (under construction):
The estimated cost of the project is SAR 39,000,000 (thirty-nine million Saudi riyals). The five-storey building is located behind King Khalid Eye Hospital, next to Ward (A).  The center serves all ages of diabetic inpatients (of the hospital) or outpatients according to the regulations and procedures of medication at King Khaled Eye Hospital. The center has a number of sections including: diagnosis rooms, treatment rooms, laser ward, operation rooms, rooms for educating diabetic patients, ophthalmoscope rooms, electric physiology, center for visual impairment, center for genetic traits of the retina diseases, and center for collection and reading the information issued by the television network in the initial examination of the retina for the early diagnosis of retinopathy caused by diabetes.
 
Sheikh Saleh ibn Abdulaziz Alrajhi for the inclusive rehabilitation of the disabled in Alkharj:
The 3-buildings center covers an area of land about 15,000 m2, with a capacity of 400 beds that can be increased. The cost of construction reached SR 20,000,000 (twenty million Saudi Riyals).
-The administrative building includes the reception hall for visitors, the director’s office, a meeting room, secretarial office, four offices for social workers and psychologists, a clinic, and service rooms, 6 halls for vocational training, multi-purpose hall having the shape of a theater for seminars, lectures and ceremonies, in addition to service rooms, courts of volleyball, basketball, handball and tennis .
Clinic (for men): It includes examination rooms, treatment rooms, nursing, pharmacy, and five separate rooms for patients, three halls for physiotherapy with electrical therapeutic devices, hydrotherapy, physical exercises, a swimming pool of graded depth. There is also a daycare section that includes a reception hall, six rooms used as classrooms, and administrative offices, in addition to nursing accommodation and food courts on the top storey.
Clinic (for women): It includes a reception hall for visitors, supervisor office, four offices for social workers and psychologists, physicians offices and outpatient clinics. It is similar to the men's clinic in its medical, daycare and professional sections .

The Alrajhi Endowment built and equipped two First Aid centers in coordination with the Saudi Red Crescent Society: (1) Centre of Sheikh Saleh ibn Abdulaziz Alrajhi for First Aid in Umm Sidra on the highway to Riyadh/Qasseem, and (2) Centre for Sheikh Saleh ibn Abdulaziz Alrajhi Alrajhi for First Aid in Sheri on the highway to Qassim/Hail. A third site will be established in Riyadh, once determined, in coordination with the Saudi Red Crescent society. The Alrajhi Endowment aims to support the official body in charge in providing assistance to the injured in accidents and participating with these bodies in community service.
The total cost for the construction of these centers is SR 900,000 (nine hundred thousand Saudi Riyals) and is expected to serve 50,000 persons annually.
 
Centre for Sheikh Saleh ibn Abdulaziz Alrajhi Alrajhi for First Aid in Halban, Province of Afeef, Riyadh :
This health center covers an area of land reaching 8000 m2 on the highway to Riyadh/Mecca, which is the most important highway in Saudi Arabia, used by hundreds of thousands pilgrims and others each year. It is expected to serve 50,000 persons annually. This center is located in Halban, approximately 300 km west of Riyadh.
 
Centre for Sheikh Saleh ibn Abdulaziz Alrajhi Alrajhi for First Aid in Alhomiyat (450 km west of Riyadh) in the province of Afif, Riyadh:
The center covers an area of land of about 4000 m2, on the highway to Riyadh/Makkah, the highway mentioned above. It is expected to serve about 50,000 persons annually.

  Establishing and equipping dialysis centers:   
Supporting the endeavors of charitable work in our blessed country and participating in alleviating the suffering of patients suffering from renal failure who are in need of medical care, the Alrajhi Endowment established an integrated unit for dialysis in Dawadmi hospital, as shown in Table 15 below.
 
Providing disability and medical devices for people with disabilities "Aoun disability program”:
The Alrajhi Endowment coordinated with a number of medical and social agencies and charities in various regions of the Kingdom to start a program for providing medical devices for people with disabilities: "Aoun disability program" upon an initiative proposed by the Ministry of Awqaf to provide a variety of medical devices fulfilling the need of some registered patients.
 
The Alrajhi Endowment undertakes this program to fulfill the following objectives:
Alleviating the suffering of the disabled and their families and help rehabilitate them in specialized centers to acquire certain skills.
Active participation of the Alrajhi Endowment in adopting social projects that serve special groups.
Supporting the efforts made by the government in the service of people with disabilities.
 
Many positive effects have been realized for the beneficiaries of this program that aims to serve persons with disabilities. Such services go straight to beneficiaries in coordination with medical and charitable organizations, which have been of great help to those people with disabilities in facilitating their health needs and daily affairs as shown in Table 16 below.
